以下分享幾種方式,讓各位在有問題的時候,可以找到足夠專業或科學、符合自己需求、也相對完整的建議。其中每個方式都有其優缺點,也一併提供給各位做為參考。<br>

<br>
<b style="background-color: #f4cccc;"><span style="color: #660000; font-size: large;">1. 詢問專業營養師。</span></b><br>
<br>
說到專業,有個需特別注意的迷思,就是病人對醫師說的話,習慣照單全收。醫師的確有其專業,是非常優秀的專業人士。不過現今的醫學教育主要方向還是在診斷和治療疾病,故我們可以說,醫師的確是診斷和治療疾病方面的專家。<br>
<br>
但營養和飲食,又是另外一回事了!<br>
<br>
事實上,台灣的醫學院並<b>沒有</b>營養學必修,各位在醫療體系會遇到的各種醫護人員(包括醫師),除了營養師以外,他們所懂的營養,很可能跟你差不多。除非他是位非常認真自學,喜歡追求新知的醫護人員,否則他們對營養相關問題的回覆很可能仍是以保守的個人觀點居多。(比如某些醫師會跟病人說吃素不健康,這點很明顯是因缺乏營養知識而產生的誤解)。<br>
<br>
我們常說,術業有專攻,而<b>營養師</b>才是真正受過營養訓練的專業人員,故若要找人問營養專業問題,請找營養師(可至各醫院營養門診掛號),而非醫師。<br>
<br>
<div>

<li><b>優點:</b>有專業人員先篩過資料,咖安心!個人或臨床方面的問題(比如血檢結果對照該如何調整飲食的解析),直接面對面請教營養師,較能從整體狀況提供建議。</li>
<li><b>缺點:</b>台灣某些學校所使用的營養學教科書,主要還是來自美國(不知道幾年前)教科書的翻譯本,而某些學校的學生可能會參考到較新版的原文書。但畢竟教科書的編輯和出版都還是需要時間,各地的相關研究成果卻每天都在更新。故針對較新的科學研究成果,即使是經認證過的營養師,也不見得都非常了解。只能說學無止境啊...</li>

現今的醫學或是科學研究成果,都不會號稱自己是"最正確"的,(只有非專業,才會說自己是"最正確的") 而未來也是有可能再被新的研究推翻。但至少它是"到目前為止",透過專業而縝密的實驗或收案分析所得出的結果。<br>

<br>
那我們要如何得知一篇研究報告有多少可信度呢?除了可觀察這篇文獻是否有被發表於知名期刊(如NEJM,Lancet,JAMA,BMJ 是公認可信度最高的醫學四大期刊),或是由哪間大學的研究中心出的報告(比如哈佛醫學院)之外,有醫學或科學背景的朋友,更可以自己搜尋論文,檢視其中實驗設計及執行的方式等等,來判斷這份資料是否足以解答心中疑惑。</div>

<li><b>優點:</b>眼見為憑!不透過他人的解讀,可得到第一手資訊。</li>
<li><b>缺點:</b>需要有醫學或科學背景+英文不錯,可閱讀原文資料。</li>

第一次有幸聆聽到徐嘉博士的演講,是在三年前的2016台北國際素食論壇。在那之前,我和許多大眾一樣,對素食有錯誤的認知和偏見:以為只有喜好清淡飲食的長者、宗教人士、或非常愛護動物的民眾才適合吃素。<br>
